service in amazing time frame

If you haven't had the experience second to none in dealing with a top notch auto dealer, you should visit Charles Maund in Austin. Sales, service, and the best people to deal with all wrapped together. In all my over 50 years of interaction with automotive professionals, they're head and shoulders above the crowd. You owe it to yourself to find out for yourself.

Jennifer Parnell did a great job of helping me get my new car. She identified a vehicle that was available and tracked it through the 6-week waiting period. She also searched for alternative vehicles that might arrive sooner or be less expensive. She worked with me on the price and helped with initial setup of the subscription services. Best car buying experience!

My husband and I spoke to Joe Buantello a few days before visiting Charles Maund Toyota in Austin. It is an 1hr 30 mins drive but we took the journey with our 2 toddlers because he made us feel comfortable. The car buying experience was great, he showed us all our options in vehicle selection and financially he found a deal that worked best for us. He was extremely patient and took the time to answer all our questions. He listened and answered all our questions, he made the process very simple and so well worth it!!

Pleased and Relieved

We were so pleased and relieved with our car buying experience. Usually it’s a 1/2 day minimum to choose and finish the deal, but Constantin was so polite and professional that before we knew it, we were driving off the lot in a minivan that fit all my needs and wants!

Didnt get what i want!

I want a Highlander SUV, and end up with a Mazda.2015 CX-9 next day when i went to work a friend notice that passage door doesnt lock. Well My mazda was broke into because the door doesnt lock, so i text sale man want to do ? few days later sill hasnt call me text me back! only had the Mazda for 3 days. still waiting for that call...or text.....

Honest, competent service

Angel Rodriguez knows how to make customers feel listened and shows that he cares. He is efficient, but courteous. No time wasted, but with adequate attention, responsive and great with follow up. Helped us make sure that the warranty was honored. Charles Maund Toyota, where we bought our Prius, is a car dealer and service facility that I trust and recommend.

Robert Tenny was an excellent salesman and easy to work with. He did not pressure us like other salesman at other dealerships have in the past. I would definitely recommend him and purchase a vehicle with Robert again. The finance guy Humam Heet was great also. Humam didn’t try to pressure us with unnecessary extras that we didn’t need.Both of these men are a great asset to Charles Maund Toyota.

Great Service experience

My 2015 RAV4 needed new tires. We called around for prices and found that Charles Maund had similar pricing but it was our service experience there that made the decision about where we would by tires. Both my husband and I purchased our Toyota’s at Charles Maund and have all service done there.and always call Kevin Coyne to schedule our service. He is the best - we have confidence in him and know that we'’ll get the service needed

I have taken my Corolla to Charles Maund for service since I moved to Austin in 2009 and have nothing but good things to say about their service department. I never felt like they were trying to over-recommend service or repairs or take advantage of me, and the work was completed when they said. This review and the rating has to do with the new car buying process I recently experience at Charles Maund. However, I'm going to approach this review from a slightly different angle, in that I'm going to talk about two things I learned from this experience. Why am I doing it this way? So that others won't make the same mistakes that I did. The first lesson learned is if you want to make sure the new car you're about to purchase, yes you've narrowed it down to the exact vehicle, had no issues before taking title to it then you’ll have to ask. Ask if any repairs were done on the car, ask if it came from another dealer and if so, ask if that dealer undertook any repairs on the vehicle. Sure it's under warranty, should it matter that it was repaired before you purchased it? Yes, I don't buy a brand new dishwasher that's been repaired, why would I buy a $25,000 new car if it's been repaired? (I will note there is an exception, a discount) The second lesson learned, if the car has more than 5 - 10 miles on the odometer, ask why. Because the Federal Trade Commission defines a used or demo vehicle as having been "driven more than the limited use necessary in moving or road testing a new vehicle prior to delivery to a consumer." I walked into Charles Maund to purchase a new car, not a demo car. (As with lesson one the exception is a discount.) I was sad, and surprised, that my excellent service department experience, over ten years, didn’t translate to my new car buying experience, but I have learned two valuable lessons for the next time.

Exceptional, Considerate Service

30K checkup

Bad customer service

I don't know where to start. I am very disappointed with Charles Maund Toyota, and I feel lied and robbed. In 2016 a signed up for a lease (first time in my life) and one of the leasing points was that the contract would be for 3 years and I all was responsible for was to pay the difference if I went above the mileage on the contract. They said, any repairs, maintenance, oil changes, etc. it's on us, "you don't have to pay anything out-of-pocket". What they forgot to say it's that they included in the lease $2k for a maintenance package. Now that I traded-in that vehicle at the new Toyota in Cedar Park, it turned out I didn't have to buy that maintenance package. Toyota offers free maintenance for the first 2 years (or 25k mileage, whichever comes first) on all new vehicles, so they charged me $2k for the third year. I traded-in sooner and I just wanted to cancel and recover anything for these warranty that I should had never been forced to buy to begin with. They made me go to their office, I was only going to get $65 back but they had to charge a convenience fee of $25 for the cancellation, so I only ended up with $40. This is a joke. I am very upset with this company and I will NEVER buy or recommend any friends or relatives to this company again. If you are going to lease, make sure to go over every single charge and ask why do you have to buy a maintenance package for $2k when the first 2 years are for free. It does not make any sense.
